Pueraria lobata root, commonly called Kudzu, is an important part of the Buhner Lyme protocol.
 
Buhner  identified several key benefits of kudzu in his protocols for treating Lyme disease and other complex systemic infections. He viewed kudzu not as a simple remedy but as a systemic agent that protects the body from the damage caused by infection and inflammation.
